after a lifetime of attempting to become somebody i was never meant to be, i did surrender to what is true - that it is for me to bring out the pure beauty that constantly flows through my imagination into our shared experience. the most feminine of the expressions. i do it with as much devotion and as little distortion as one can.
the artistic expression through clothing offers a kind of a synergy between the beauty as an experience of an aesthetic that you can touch and observe, like a sculpture, with the individual beauty of the woman and her unique signature. one elevates the other and the other elevates the one.
i delight in textures and shapes and only use natural materials that can be worn like second skin: wool, cotton, linen, silk. and allowing viscose and other man-made, nature-derived blends only when they win over my heart with their aesthetic, such that they can be enjoyed for their beauty and their feel in equal measure and without compromise. the fabrics come from different parts of the earth, and are the ends of the line, found at flea markets, or repurposed from second-hand clothing.
of each creation there is only one, sculpted by hand, and entirely in service to the creative flow. each has been cherished throughout the process of creation and will call you to delight in the care and the beauty that it contains.
